Financial Aid
To offset the cost of tuition, financial aid is available to qualified applicants. The first step to receiving financial aid is to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This can be completed online or you can print the application and mail it in. Sul Ross State University offers help with filling out the application and any other financial questions that you may have. SRSU also offers scholarships to its students. The deadline to apply for their scholarships is the March 15th before the upcoming school year every year. Grants are also available for qualified students as well as work study programs. The Federal College Work Study program is available to those who are in financial need based upon FAFSA which decides the maximum amount of money that can be made during the work study program. Institutional Student Employment is an opportunity for students to work part-time on campus to earn extra money. This work program is not dependent upon financial need.
