I also attended in 1992. I got certified instead of an "associates" because I had a child. I am thankful that I did not waste one more cent on this worthless school. None of my classes have transferred to a University. To get a transcript is a waste of time and your $50. What a joke. I think there should be a major lawsuit on this stupid college and whomever is responsible for ripping us off. I am sure there are many people out there that have been victims.

I believe i attended this shool back in 2003-2004 and to be honest i feel the same way these people feel ripped off, lied too, a huge waste of time. For one the most of the teachers instead of actually teaching you the content they would read of a book and never give you feedback, 2 in financial aid office they would put a lovely face when they would tell you oh yeah just sign the federal financial aid loans and we will do the rest that the loans would be just a back up in case that i wouldnt get financial aid and know i owe 10,000 dollars for only one f@$ck**n year of attending that school, and please excuse my french i don't want to insult anyone, but i feel those were almost to years robbed out of my life time and money, when know im reading that this school was never accredited and i can't get a Decent job because some companies require you to have school background, And oh yeah know i have mr. Steve Simmons infomation so i can get my transcript for 50 dollars how nice is that and the students can't sue this school because we can't base off of anything how about that we have been ripped off, with no credit hours, and no jobs. how nice while corp America keeps on getting rich we the hard working people, who come from decent, humble families keep on getting poorer and poorer oh yeah and walked all over. Well I really hope there would be a lawyer who would really, really woul like to do the right thing for people like me. Thank you for reading my story and i hope againg someone could do something about this.

I attended this school, this is a big scam, rip off and the worse of the worse, you just pay and pay. and they will not reimburse you the money if you choose not to continue with registration. on top of that the companies do not even know what kind of school is that, they think is a online degree that you get from a patito school. they don't hired you, they rather have a community college student working for them that this ugly school. 01/20/2009.

this school is a rip off, do not even try to go there. they are just a waste of time and money. they sell your social security to people that can not work in the US legally, 5 of my classmates had identity theft from this school. later we found out that the owner sold it to some french people that was illegal here. this is the worse of the worse. today is Jan 20 2009. and it gets worse. i went there in 2004-2006.

I attended this school when it was Southwest Institute and had requested my transcripts. I received a call from Steve Simon giving me an address where to send the check to and I still haven't received them. I think this school is a total fraud and is ripping everyone off. It's very upsetting to have spent those waisted years in school.

This school is a total rip off, as it was when it was SW Institute. My wife graduated fromt there in 91 or 92 with a AA in Interior Design. She wanted to get a job with the EPISD and when they ran the credits they could not be accepted because the school was not and is not acredited (which they claimed they were or were going to be). They also took out a student loan in her name her last couple of semesters that she did not want nor did she ok. She never saw but one check nor saw any of the money from the checks. Now the building is for lease or for sale and the school is shut down. So you tell me what kind of school it is. Even if she wanted to go on and get a further education in Interior Design she would have to start all over, the AA degree she got is totally worthless.

My name is Summer Hammond and I graduated BIT in Sept. of 2006. I was enrolled in the NTHS (National Technical Honor Society) and have yet to recieve any information about it! What did I pay $25 for! Was it a scam or do you all not know anything about this? When Rachel Gordon was there who aloud her to set the NTHS up with the students? Someone had to know, so I would appreciate some information about this situation. Also, I have yet to recieve my cap and gown! Where is it? Are you going to reimburse me my $30 or was that a rip off too. I am very upset and unsatisfied! It seems no one can give me any answers! No one seems to know what is going on in the school!!!!!!

Don't think people don't read this stuff. After viewing you comments, I've decided against BIT and will looking at another program in Tucson. Thanks to all for your comments.
