If your statistics are accurate with regard to the number of students (ethnically) enrolled, and with regard to salary and compensation (male to female), this brings two very interesting points: 1- if the number of Caucasion students outnumber the number of black students by such a large number, why then is it that Memphis teaches so strongly the positions of the black church and the concepts of liberation theology? 2- in looking at the average salalries (male to female) it's apparent why the strong feminist view seems to be taught there. Now, I am not saying that black studies and womens studies (etc) should not be taught, but wouldn't it make more sense to tailor an educational program to the demographic of the student body? Finally - just a pet peave - but if strong women want to fight for equal rights, then I applaud them for their efforts and stand with them wholeheartedly, however those same women should stand up for the injustice that is being shown to the men at Memphis. May God Be With Us All.

I'm not sure that a variance of "27" would be considered "such a large number." The practice of teaching- utilizing a style that elimates bias, prejudices, and stereotypes may be in a different category than "feminism." The teachings of Christ promotes justice, equality, justice, fairness, and Love. Teaching, speaking, and writing in a non biased manner may not equivalent to "feminism." Liberation Theology is merely one of many ecumenical topics addressed during our Seminary experience at Memphis Theological Seminary. We srive to live by our motto of pursuing justice, being pious and promoting scholasticism. God's Blessings
