LawReviewer is incorrect. PSU bought the formerly independent Dickinson School of Law roughly 10 years ago. The school now runs dual campuses that act as one. One campus remains at the original Dickinson School of Law site in Carlisle, PA while the other campus operates out of University Park, PA. Both campuses offer brand new state-of-the-art facilities (both buildings are entering only their second year of operation) and excellent professors. LawReviewer, please refrain from commenting on schools of which you do not even know the current status. As a student at the Carlisle campus, I can highly recommend either campus especially if you wish to practice law in central PA.

Dickinson Law School should not even be associated with Penn State, and I believe the only reason it is at this time is because PSU gives Dickinson funding. Dickinson used to be fairly reputable, but it has declined in reputation, competency, and morality. If you are considering attending law school, choose another alternative. The campus and surroundings are not desireable, and the faculty and program offered is lacking.
