I am a graduate of Abdill aswell, however I had a great experience there. As a matter of fact, my wife is also a graduate of Abdill. And we both obtained careers in our chosen fields shortly after completing our externships. I don't know where we'd be today without Abdill. Abdill is (was at the time we attended) a very small school, and we got to know everyone who worked their very well. All employees seemed to be very concerned about us and how we were progressing through our programs. They wanted to make sure that we succeeded in our education and in our future careers. In my oppinion, Abdill was worth every penny!

I attended Abdill for Medical Front Office Management and i feel this school did exactly what they said they were going to do. They gave me a great education in a short amount of time. I have to admit that the information is fast paced. There is alot of information in a short amount time but if you are serious about going to school and do the work you will succeed. The administrative staff/owner helped me to figure out ways to study and gave suggestions to any problems I had and were extremely helpful. You won't have much time for anything other than school and homework but like i said if you are serious and do it you will succeed.

After completeing and paying my Medical Assisting course, Abdill has sent me to a "collection" agency for $37.00 for a UA I did not pay before going out on an externship interview. No one else in my class or some others have had to pay for this. When I was sent out by K to an externship site, the establishment wasn't looking for an externship position but a working position and therefore I wasn't even considered. My point being, is that my experience with this schools administrators is not consistent or reliable. I will pay the fee now because they are withholding my earned Medical Assistant Certificate til its paid. Also this will reflect on my credit report now since being put in a collection department, which is what they intended. Does this sound like a school you would want to spend your time and money with?

This school has the WORST upper management and no professionalism. The front office has a woman working wearing revealing clothes, tatoo's that should not be shown in her type of job. The other "owners" smoke and stand on the fire escapes, do not obey the fire rules posted on the walls right beside them. The "externship coordinator" is losing her facilties and can't keep up her job or remember where and what she is supposed to be placing people. They play foavoritism and are not consistant with the way they carry out school policies. Most people are afraid to voice thier opinion because of the backlash. They just want the $$$.

I'm sorry to inform anyone interested in attending Abdill, but unfortunately I feel this school has not lived up to its standards. I attended the school for a short period of time and I feel the only good that came out of it was the teachers are wonderful and you meet great peers. Now for the school itself is another story. It seems that all that is wanted out of every student is money......I will never return to this school or advise anyone to attend.......

I have taken several courses at Abdill and found all the courses to be very informative. The teaching staff is considerate and helpful. The administrative staff is very professional and they work hard to ensure that all the students’ needs are taken care of in a timely manner. I have had a wonderful time here at Abdill and I have learned so much.
