I would not recommend Virgils Beauty College to even my worst enemies! They do not care about the students as people, nor do they treat them as adults. We got treated like 4 year olds and only got taught what we needed to know to pass the state board exam. If we miss a Friday or Saturday we are not aloud to return to school until the following friday unless we had a doctors note or attended a "family members" funeral. I had attended a funeral of a close friend and Virgil told me I could not return until the next week because the funeral was on a Friday. The main instructor criticized everyone all the time and belittled them. The school needs upgraded badly, roaches are horrible there. Myself and several others transferred from Virgils to Tahlequah beauty College about a quarter of the year through. I would Highly Recommend Tahlequah, They let you have a life. If you need to take off a day they do not make you explain in every tiny detail why you were off and did not require a doctors note. Bottom Line VIRGILS IS A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SCHOOL AND I AM SORRY THAT HE EVER GOT ANY OF MY MONEY!!
