I attended from '97-'99. I wouldn't trade my time at Vo-Tech for anything I can think of. I was 51 years old at the time. I don't feel I was treated differently. Had a few high school kids ask me if I was a teacher. Because of my age, I suppose. I was in computer technology Loved every day of it. Still try to keep in touch. We do learn it is all about attitude.

My experience at this school was not good as for one of the teachers there she was very negative and always wanted to tell a raceist joke and some of the other people there I bumped into would follow you aroung or stare at you I am a black women I felt very uncomfortable if it was not for that I would go back for more classes I think it needs to be more differnt that what it is you can tell by the treatment they are not fond of blacks or mexican that was my experience

I graduated from Durant Vo-Tech LPN/LVN program in 1990 and have never regreted it. This was one of the best decisions I ever made and am proud to tell others where I went to school. I now work in an Emergency room and love my job.
