wow, this is so much different from when I was there. Of course it was 1990 though a Eve was the owner. It was very well run and we had everything we needed, didn't have to pay for books and it was only a little over 6 thousand. I guess things went way downhill.

First Of all let me start by saying that it is not worth 12,000 dollars to go to eve's college. Eve does not own Eve's college anymore .. The lady who owns it.. her name is Tammy Graham. The only time you will see her really is orientation. The paperwork that you receive in orientation states that there are plenty of supplies for each student. That would be a negative. In the classroom you have to dig through boxes and try to find things to use, Some of the haircolor found said that it expired in 1987. The girls that are on the floor who actually work on clients have been having issues with haircolor and supplies, they are having to leave their clients and go to the supply store and buy it while their clients are waiting. We have found out that our kits that we receive have no clippers. The clippers were replaced with a blowdryer and straight iron. When the student body asked for a price list regarding the supplies to see what our money was going towards and also price difference of clippers versus a blowdryer and straight iron, we were told that that information wasn't available. We also paid 600 dollars for books that we never used, not even once.So if you are thinkin about becoming a cosmetologist, please rethink your options of going to Eve's...

When i went to this school we had books and just about everything we needed. Mrs. Debra was the instuctor on the floor and she was wonderful to the students and the clients. Mrs. Tammy was hardly ever there and when she was there she was always to busy to help out with the students. I really can't complain about this school, they taught me very well.
