I have been a student at bohecker since October 2007. The LPN program was great because of the instructors and the instructors alone. The RN program is a JOKE and a waste of time you will learn absolutely NOTHING. Clinicals will be everywhere except for in columbus and you will learn nothing. The administration is the worse especially the DON. She is rude and unfriendly. Yes you would be better off going to another school its over priced and its clear that they do not care about their students its main goal is to collect money. Every 5 minutes they come up with some new rule but forget to tell the student body about it. They are extremely unorganized and unprofessional. They promote individuals for doing a mediocre job. If I had to do it again I would not attend this school please go else where.

I have been a full time instructor at the college for 2 years. All students must understand this is an accelerated program with rigor. We incorporate professionalism into all courses of the program. We embrace all student into the program and try to instill into them the passion of nursing. Unfortunately, not all students are able to assimilate to the rigor of an academic program such as Bohecker College. I wish all of my previous and present students the best of luck in their future careers. I hope all alumni begin to appreciate their alma mater.

My wife is currently enrolled at this school in Columbus, Ohio. Please do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money at a different school. This "college" is unorganized, unprofessional and will staff changes on a monthly basis. Students schedule change without any notice, always at the last minute. My wife is almost done with this bad nightmare. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Obtained my LPN from here. After 2 weeks in the program and $9,000 for the first semester we were informed that the school only had provisional approval from the Ohio Board of Nursing, which meant they had once had full approval but after being audited by the state board this approval was taken away. We were then informed that our credits would not transfer to another school if we chose to leave after the first semester. So $20,000 later I have graduated from Bohecker, and have been waiting over a month to take my boards, which means I cannot apply for another school or even work as an LPN. Bohecker promises to help you find a job as soon as you graduate, in reality they do nothing to help. They also claim that they have large amounts of hands on experience, in reality the open lab never has instructors available to help, the simulation lab is not available for student use at all times, and clinical experience is almost useless. Students from my class spent most of their time attempting to schedule and reschedule clinical days that had been cancelled by instructors due to illness, injury or med errors that occurred due to lack of clinical instructor supervision. Bohecker is NOT a well respected school in the nursing community. Their lack of professionalism not only among teachers but students as well has earned them poor reputation among potential clinical sites and prospective employers. For example, students have admitted in class to teachers and fellow students that they have had a felonious assault charge on their record, also a current clinical instructor has allowed a picture of herself bent over a chair with another student behind her insinuating a sexual act to be circulated among other clinical instructors and students via picture text message. This type of behavior was all too common while attending Bohecker for 11 months. Save your money, sanity, and time. Invest in a good program that has full approval by the state, more professional and reputable in the community even though it may take longer. It will benefit you and your career in the long run.
