Class of 91. I went to V.E.E.B as part of my Medical education. After I was working as an EMT graduating from the EMS Academy in NYC.It was one of the Finest Private schools I'd ever been to. Comparing it with BARD College(siste school to YALE)in which I had a scholorship in writing. The Teachers were top notch. The subject matter was instructed well and the tutoring classes were also very good.I studied 4 hours a nite and grauated with a B+ average, which I had to work hard for.It was worth the travel at 3am to get there by 8am from Manhatten NY.It was a Sacrifice that I will never forget or regret.Today I am a Mental Health Nurse and in the many years that I have been nursing.I have done travel nusing,Ventilator nursing,Film set Nursing.Private,Ped's and keep my career very interesting.I would advise anyone seeking a private school for nursing to consider V.E.E.B I have the Fondest of Memories when I see the young faces of my fellow graduates in our Grauating Class Picture. A+ ALL THE WAY!!

Veeb. Is a great school for the foundation of nursing. The demands that are placed upon you while attending is worth it in the long run. My one suggestion is to go on to higher levels in nursing, like I said "its a great foundation" you must- I repeat you must go on for the registered nurse degree. I had great times and some bad( studying like hell no partying lol) to maintain good grades. I'm presently working as a unit manager, after veeb class of "81" attended nassau comm. then Adelphi U.. It makes me feel so good to see the students attending the program, knowing that they are obtaining a great start in the field that I love so much. The uniform brings back so many memories, white with the blue piping along the sides of the bib. The administration was great, they really pushed you to learn and one teacher that stands out among the rest is MS. Taylor, she teaches pharmacology, one the most challenging courses. She is very serious about what she teaches and wants the students to get it and retain it. After graduating and gaining employment one will understand why she was so hard on the students. Thank - you Ms. Taylor for the knowledge you instilled in me.
