I graduated in 2008 for medical assistant. The teacher we had was not experienced in teaching nor did she do well in discipline. We basically were given materials to read and had to do everything on our own. After graduation we were to be given help with job placement and there was no one around to help. As of today, I still do not have a medical assistant position but I am working for an awesome company and get paid better than I would have in an entrance level medical assistant. Without the experience that was not taught to us it made it impossible to learn or go out and seek employment. It was a great loss of money that now I am paying back. If there was ever a law suit on this school, you can bet I would be there and so would so many of my class mates at the time.

I graduated form Chubb in 2001 and I thought I could get a job with the diploma I received but I was not able to until I built experience. It was more of a stepping stone to what I eventually started doing. I have had a great career doing IT and I credit Chubb for giving me the hands-on knowledge to start out. I assumed after going there I could just find a job but you have to build on your knowledge from there but it was expensive and it did helped me. Do not go there thinking you rule the industry after ou leave but you will be able to perform your training because it was hands on. It doesn't mean employers will hire you straight out. That is more the nature of the business than the school itself. Otherwise your are just buying a job. I felt very knowledgeable and I was, but my industry of choice (IT) was looking for more. I have went on to receive my MBA and 14 certifications in IT and it helps to build on. I have did well and it was a start.

I graduated Chubb in the year of 2000 for computer networking. Once I graduated Chubb I was only able to get about eight interviews. Chubb only got me three of them. I was never able to get a job in the field and looked for about a year. The cost of going to Chubb was about $10,000 in student loans. Since it didn't work out I find myself attending a local community college for a new career choice again. For what I spent in cost to go to Chubb I could of had an associates degree working on a bachelors degree. Chubb turned out to be the wrong choice and if you ask me, they should have to repay part of my student loans. They claim to have a high job placement percentage, but that can't be the case. I know many who went to Chubb and it didn't work out. I wish I never would of attended the Chubb Institute, it's just another bill that I am stuck paying.

This school is terrible. I did not find IT to be suited to me in the end and that was a life lesson. Nonetheless they promised me the moon and the stars and they delivered on none. For example I never felt the kind of attention was given to the struggling student that was needed, classes consisted of kids who lived with their parents playing video games all day and basic self study. I felt I had some good teachers who were very frustrated with the system they were in. Also the instructor who created our program was fired or quit before the program was through. When I finally completed the course while working two jobs I started working with their placement adviser who literally looked for job openings in the newspaper. Now years later after paying down consistently on debt that gave me absolutely nothing but the satisfaction of making it through the course and the lesson of watching closer for wolves in sheeps' clothing, I can't get a transcript from them to continue my education or a phone call back after eight times calling. This school that took my money and gave me nothing is now holding up my education. Somehow I will get their attention, I've contacted two Congressmen. Do not give this school your money or time, they are crooked, are only in it for the money and are next to Chucky cheese for Christ sakes.
