I attended TSA under the GI Bill starting in 1952 after four years in Navy. Both nights and days.I remember instructors Joe Bishoff ,Vic Kohler.Jim Meyers (who later became Arthur Godfreys chief mech) I think Howie or Richie Guyler did the maint on your flt training planes. Mr Van Dyke recruited me.Then it was a small building and a smsller hangar.I was working for Bendix in the hangar that used to be across the street from the Big A hangar. We had a B-25, DC-3 a Stearman yellow peril, Stinson, DH-125, Beach D-i8s, Queen air.I left Bendix for the FAA. Ended up in Atlanta as the Southern Region Maintenace Branch Manager. Now live in Delaware. Another guy from TSA, Bob Flynn, lives here as well. The hands-on instruction was great. I think we tramelled a colts wing for part of the practicale. Used wood dope and fabric training only once or twice on the Douglas racers and D-18 control surfaces. Duke Krantz who's in the Teterboro Hall of Fame was my boss and the chief pilot, and after him Paul Arnold who probably should we in there with him. Thanks for preparing me for a rewarding career in aviation.

I attended TSA from 1978 to 1980 in class #233. I worked as an airline mechanic for Eastern Airlines and United Airlines. Today I am Vice-President of Technical Operations for Mesaba Airlines in Minnesota. Thanks TSA for giving me a great start!

Attended from late Summer 1948, to January 1950 in Group 12. Spent seven years as an A&E mechanic for the airlines, and then served as a Flight Engineer with the airlines until 1979. Enjoyed the time spent studying at TSA, and grateful for the knowledge received.

I attended T.S.A from 1977-1979. I have been working steady in the gulf Mexico for a major helicopter company since graduation. I raised a family, looking at retirement soon. Thanks T.S.A for such a great trainning.
