Here in Southern Indiana, on a warm spring night, my brother called from Scottsdale, to inform me that the University of Minnesota, Morris was having the honor of hosting the Prarie Home Companion Radio Show via NPR. He was listening to the Phoenix NPR Radio Station, KJZZ.org. I typed it into my computer and listened to the Finish Choir from a town that I had not listened to on the radio for 60 years. It was a delight. In 1950, my father, EC Hedegard, was the Superintendent of Schools at Alberta, MN. I was five and six years old. I remember driving from Alberta, with my father at the wheel, to Morris (the big neighboring town) on a freezing, blizzard night in order to purchase a quart of milk. It is in my memory as if it happened last week. Thank you much for your participation in a serindepity night. From Morris, to Phoenix, to Borden, Indiana, the circle of communication was across time and space. Loved the chior!! Karla Hedegaard

Please understand that 1 remark by 1 prof does not tell the story of the University...UMM is a wonderful place with driven, high achieving students...I encourage you to explore the University...it is much more than just one comment...you will find the deeper you look and dig the more impressed you will be with the overall excellence at UMM

Is it true that one of your professors has offered to desicrate the Bessed Sacrement in public? If true, is he sharing his time equally and desigrating the most hold items in all religions? Who whoud send their children to such a place if this is true?
