I was with Old Town High School's Army JROTC on the feild trip on April 26, 2007 I think that the bridge simulator was fun however the food was great as stated by Christopher McCneely. On behalf of OTHS JROTC Thank you Sincerely, Cadet Staff Seargent Lawrence Tiller

Maine Maritime Academy does not have 26% of its students in 'construction majors." Rather, that 26 % group of students is in a marine transportation major - one that prepares students for a US Coast Guard license to become an officer aboard large ships, We also offer a power engineering major to prepare students for careers in the power generation and management fields. Finally, we offer a comprehensive, challenging 5-year degree in systems engineering which allows students to go on and get a higher degree in mechanical or civil engineering. Excellent math skills are needed to do well in engineering and marine transportation fields. Writing skills are needed for all majors. Leadership and ethics are components of every course regardless of major.
