I have only been at Intercoast Career Institute in S. Portland, Maine for approx. 2 mths. and I think this is one of the biggest mistakes I have made. If I had it to do over, I would have gone BACK to Kaplan University or another community college. Intercoast is a joke only I'm not laughing. I would like to know where the tuition money is spent. It sure isn't spent in S. Portland. The computers in the so called computer lab are pathetic. The supplies are even worse. We ran out of paper for the copier so when I went to get more, the person in charge handed me roughly 25 pieces of paper for a whole class to share. I know times are tough but this is ridiculous! I have one more concern I'd like to address, snow storms. The National Weather Service is warning people to stay off the roads today. They are calling for 7-11 inches of snow. Most every school, private and public have cancelled classes for the day. Why should we be forced to drive in this condition just because the person in charge decided the day before that she was not calling off school.
