I graduated from PJ's a few months ago and have nothing but good things to say. It was a very pleasant experience and I am very grateful to my instructors. I not only learned a great deal technically but also feel that I was prepared to begin my career in the Cosmetology industry. I know I can alway reach out to them if needed. My sister is now attending and loves it too! I would strongly recommend PJ's to anyone!

I don't really know what you are talking about I had a great experience and would recommend anyone attend. I took the full cosmetology course and from the very beginning they were great. I am even thinking about going back to take the skin care classes.

Future students BEWARE if you are planning on enrolling at PJ'S. For the high prices that you will pay, you may want to think twice!! In this case; MORE is definately LESS. I was not informed of this while in school but apparently all students must file for their own temporary permits at the license bureau by themselves after graduation and you may want to keep this in mind otherwise you might end up like me, still waiting...wondering...nearly a month and half later as to why the board had yet to notify me of when I may take my state exam! I can't speak for other locations but the Indianapolis school director took approximately 4 weeks to lick a stamp and mail my application to the state and 5 weeks after my last day of school I was informed by the state via a phone call that my application needed to be sent back for corrections! Now I must clearly expect to wait another month for it to return back to the state HOPEFULLY filled out correctly for approval. And if you plan on making a formal complaint to the PJ'S main headquarters you can fully expect a lack of concern and disorganization as well. You may expect as least a 2 day delay on return phone calls and that is if you are persistant. I got the feeling that no one either cared, with the exception to the receptionist, or they were avoiding my calls. It appears to me that the complaint department seems to think that this disorganization is validated and may be a common occurance since I have been treated with a lack of concern and still left to wonder why this all happened to begin with! If you are planning on hitting the ground running and stepping out of school straight into your career in the beauty industry then PJ'S will not be the right school for you. Their supposed high standards are low considering the high cost they charge and the lack of even a petty attempt to absolve my problem and satify me after all the trouble and lost time I have been through is a mockery! Once you walk out the door you are no longer a CONCERN for them and you may expect PJ's severely lacking the professionalism of CARING about their students future success after graduation! BE WISE, LOOK ELSEWHERE!!

I would strongly recommend this school to anyone. I had a very pleasant experience and feel that I left PJ's with not only the technical skills required but confidence to begin my career in the cosmetology industry. I am now graduated and working in a salon (and loving what I do) and my sister is attending PJ's. I would tell anyone considering this profession to go for it!
