The lack of diversity in the student body, and the school's isolation make this college a poor choice for applicants seeking a broad academic experience. In addition, the college's fraud charges in 1996 over athletic scholarships, casts a long shadow of historic proportions; such a flawed legacy for a "Christian" school.

Brewton-Parker College is a rural college located 15 minutes from Vidalia, GA and 35 minutes from Dublin, GA. BPC is located in town of Mount Vernon which is also a growing community with three new restaurants and several new businesses including a grocery store and a hardware store all opening in the last 18 months. The Student Body fall student body represents each continent with the exception of Austrailia and Antartica, with students from China, England, Nigeria, Uraguay and several other countries around the globe. As I am writing this, several students are on a mission trip to Peru. Brewton-Parker's Baseball team is getting ready to defend it's title as 2010 SSAC Champions, led by 2010 Georgia NAIA Coch of the Year, Boo Mullins. Brewton-Parker may not be right for everyone, but there is certainly plenty of excitement for students looking to combine their faith with thier academic Goals.
