I don't know about the other campuses but I do know about the Decatur one and I have to tell you that it was very unprofessional. Do Not waste your time!!!

People who talk about checks in school are not there to learn they are there just to collect more government money so they can keep being lazy. I took the Medical Assistant class and worked my butt off to get good grades. I was hired at my extern site thanks to the lady in placement. The only fraud I see are the two girls who posted on here pretending to be going to school to learn.

Actually API does offer help for jobs as well as resume' help and other employment services. They really do care about the students at the Duluth and Gainesville campuses. There are requirements and testing for many of their programs. Most of the graduates in the couple of classes before me already have jobs in the field. The only people who complain about this school are the ones who would rather be sitting at home watching Jerry Springer and collecting money from our taxes while their 8 kids run around screaming.

I also think API is a Fraud because they dont have any kind of placement test they let anybody who wants to join attend it sum students their that can barely read and write

It is bananas that I paid $12,500 for a piece of paper that doesn't even qualify me to enroll in a required Registered Health Information Administrator course in order to obtain a medical billing position. People, please do your research and understand the vast difference between a certificate and degree, from cost to benefit and everything in between. Not knocking API but this place is not an institution, it is an institute. There is a difference. The problem is that in that difference there is no one to make this clear to you before you sign that piece of paper. They don't tell you what you really need to know, and for that you will enter the forever entangling cypher of student loans, where any substantial position is unobtainable due to lack of a degree, which really would have costed far less in the end.
