I am 32 years old and going back to school was an extremely hard decision for me to make. After all, I am married now and have 2 small children. I never thought this would be something that would ever enter my mind after insisting I would never go back to school after high school. Due to the economy and having a hard time financially, I decided I needed to find a stable and secure career. The medical field is just that. However, I should have done my homework first in researching other schools. My education at Branford Hall in Southington was a HUGE disappointment. I was an A-B student all along, but I don't think what we were taught helped us in the real world. I have addressed many concerns with the school regarding curriculum and instructors and they ALWAYS take the side of the instructors. You are made out to be a liar and all they care about is your MONEY!! I am SURE there are more qualified instructors out there. Just because you have experience in the field DOES NOT make you a good instructor. The majority are more about disciplining their students like children rather than helping them when they are struggling. Don't bother bringing it up to the administration because what their students think don't matter. I had one teacher in particular that spends more time scaring her students out of their career choice rather than encourage them. This is completely unprofessional. I will NEVER recommend this school to friends or family. I think I could have learned a lot more had I taken an online course. I am really disappointed that I feel this way because I was very excited and happy during my first year. However, it only takes a few to ruin it for everyone and that is what happened to me. I agree with the post before me. Want attention? Where something out of dress code. It's more like high school than anything else. Except high school didn't cost you thousands of dollars. Everyone is different so I am not going to talk you out of going here, but I will not encourage it either.

My concern is that There is way to much interruptions during class, weather it be someone not in dress code, someone walking in late to class, someone who has to make a point. I am older than most in my class and odviously knows what respect is and what not do do. I was a store manager for many years making 60,000.00 + a year and lost my job due to store closing, so I have skills and knowledge of people and how to deal with all ages and genders. I am paying for a education and deserve the best that my money can buy. Before this next term starts I would hope that these certain people will be addressed. I have bit my tongue listening to the disrespect towards the teachers, amongst other things, long enough. I also don't appreciate the lack of respect for me when I ask for my grades. I am 43 years old and deserve the upmost respect. Don't treat me like a 20 year old please!!!! I deserve better, and am surprised that I am being treated like a child.

I attend the Albany, NY campus. Our teachers are excellent, but intimidated by the powers that be! They teach in a way that everyone should excell at. Most students have a 4.0 The school itself, is as medeocre as it could be and they have now almost doubled the cost. The lunch room is a true health hazard. There are bare minimum provisions. The books are outdated, there is no running water, hot in bath faucet, filthy bathrooms, they don't even staple your handout pages together. How much do staples cost. It is a joke and more time should be allotted for the courses, even is they are excellerated! The best part is the teachers
