I attended MCED Career College and I would like to let everyone know about my experience there. Well, it was the best experience that I have had at any school so far. I loved everyone there and enjoyed my Business class. I just graduated from there on January 6, 2010. I will tell everyone that asks me about MCED to go there instead of going to any other college. I miss going there everyday that is how much I enjoyed the school. I actually graduated from there with honors and I have never made honors in my life.

I currently attend MCED Career College and let me start by saying every single person I spoke to when I started last year is no longer there. They go through employees left and right. They tell you lies to get you to sign up and then once you pass your 5 day grace period they could care less what happens to you. In one of my lab classes the teacher came the first day and never came back, so we were bounced around to 2 completely different classes, while those teachers were trying to teach their cirriculum. Seriously this school will be the worst possible choice you can make! Almost every student who attends now regrets coming here. So spend your college tuition elswhere!

MCED was great for the first month, but after a few classes I had to drop out. I continued to receive books and within a 6mo window, I received 3x duplicate textbook shipments that they will not pay for their return. I have asked for a statement of my account, and still one year later, I am still waiting. For 2 classes I am being billed over $6k! This is ridiculous! When it comes to paying your bill or dropping out....good luck in getting their support because there is NONE! They have been ignoring my request(s) too long and I am very disappointed.

I called up MCED today and they right away set up an appointment, which was nice. They offer not only condensed courses, but the ability to get more then one type of certificate in just a few months. I'm not too crazy about what they charge for there courses, but I have looked at other colleges online, for the same or close to the same studies and there a WHOLE LOT MORE like 2x the amount. The school is small, and not alot of students, I'm currently debating on taking there N.S.E course. But 15K minus 5k in grants is a BIG BITE of debt. If anyone is still employed with a certificate from this college please email me on their job placement capabilities. I'd hate tp spend 10K for a hand full of certificates that aren't worth outhouse paper. Thanks, dove_noah77@yahoo.com

I actual attend the school right now. I think that it is a alright school yes true it's like you are just reading a book and just reading so if you are a visual person I advise not attending otherwise I don't think they are that bad as advise below. I do know that if you have a question that someone would reply and assist you so as possible. I know one time they actual made a mistake and put the wrong quiz up but they advise students of the error and that was fixed. I personal think that you should be a self learning to attend. I do think that class moves a lil too fast and needs to be a lil more indepth. Not always just reading and reading and yes the exams are open book but you still do that on you own like a closed book test.

IT WAS~A NIGHTMARE!! STILL HAUNTING ME I( am a professional. Bank Manager. I was taking classes for Medical Coder. The teachers were only reading the power point slides. There was no personal input or personality to get points across. Anyone can read a power point slide! Then there were the assignments! What they gave as far as page numbers and chapters, did not line up with the books we had. Additionally, many times responses on quizzes were marked incorrect and they were definitely correct, coming straight out of the book. Other times the quiz was on a chapter we hadn't even gone over yet! It was just so inept and inefficient. I withdrew. The contract says they will refund the funds to the loans with in 30 days of withdrawal. I am now 5 months from withdrawal and my loan has not been refunded! DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS SCHOOL!!
