I am a current student at Intercoast college in Sacramento CA. This institution is extremely unprofessional. The curriculum, class schedules and procedure change day to day. Everyone gets A if you show up everyday you will get an A. Some individuals do not even know how to use a computer, in the student hand book it states all assignment must be typed. However, they do not up hold any standards. People dress anyway they would like despite the dress code. The rules are never enforced or they change daily. They tell you what you want to hear to get your money. They do not keep there word or even do what they claim to in there Student Catalog published in 6/2010. One major lie they published is that they assign students to a clinical site to extern. They give you a list and you have to actually call, make appointment, bring a resume, like a job interview. Which is okay , what is not okay is that if you are unable to find an opening then you do not finish school. I was under the impression that they would tell me where I was to go extern and I would go but no. They handed me a list of place with only 1/3 of the places even participated and the other ones have no opening. The instructors are far from qualified to teach and my teacher would provide inaccurate information. I would not recommend spending 18,500 to attend this school.
