i went into intercoast last month filled out all the paperwork, was told i was to start my class in 9 days. waited for my paperwork to come in the mail. 3 days before my class was supposed to start i called asking why i had not got any info? or why i hadn't gotten a call about my orientation? the girl told me the class was cancelled due to not enough people in it and the time was moved to mornings and wasnt starting for another two weeks. i told her i had no child care for the morning classes. she called me the next week and kept calling for me to come in. i went online to see that they had already taken money from my financial aid money. when i wasnt even signed up for any classes. i was mad. i went in and was told that i could not get any of my money upfront till i went there for half my course time about 4-5 months. then i was told i could not get out of the loan and would have to pay back the money so i mught as well start. i am so mad, i am going to go but i want out of the school and the loan. i still do not start for another 4 days and stgill cant believe i am put in this position. this should be a happy time, not for me i am so scared cause i still have yet to see what i owe, what was paid for what i was granted to not pay back, and then i get one paper saying something about 24000. when my class with the books was 16000. help

I was a graduate of InterCoast College in Carson Ca. Thereafter, i was hired as a counselor at Manchester high school, and after 14 mo. i moved to a better paying position - joined a company in downtown L.A. where i was a counselor for 4 mo. and thereafter was promoted to Asst. Program Director. I attribute much of my success in this particular field to InterCoast College student preprational techniques.... My instructor, Valerie Patterson was as proficient as they get. Joe Amalbert is a super director. Jack Coleman Jr.

I had wonderful instructors at Intercoast, I would like top warn potential students about the financial aid reps and school directors & faculty, they will have you singed up and receiving financial aid so fast that you wont even know what just happened! be very careful about anything that you sign and or initial !! Because they just want the money. They lie and use very deceptive and improper practices when it comes to the STUDENTS LOAN & GRANT MONEY!! I was told that they abuse this area and I was ready for them to do it to me. But I stayed in constant contact with them, even to the point that they were rude and misleading! I was lied to and never received my credit balance on my Loans from the school, and I was told that I would receive at least $1000.00 ! I have not received a penny! But I have received 1000's of lies and broken promises from every level of faculty there! They have made racists comments and told me to leave them alone so they can do their jobs, WELL I AM THEIR JOB! IF IT WASN'T FOR THE STUDENTS, THEY WOULD HAVE NO JOB!!! I AM NOT ALONE IN THIS EITHER! I HAVE 23 OTHER STUDENTS THAT FEEL THEY WERE WRONGED ALSO, AND WE ARE PLANNING TO LET CAADAC NO ABOUT THIS FAILURE OF FACULTY AT INTERCOAST COLLEGES! WEST COVINA CAMPUS
