i attended S U back in 92-94 and i must say that i really enjoyed the campus. The staff and the student body really made me feel at home being that i came all the way from Cali to join the bulldog faamily. i hope to one day reunite with some of the poeple that i went to school with. S U really opened up my life to new things and people. THANKS SU.

I started at Selma University the Spring of 2009. after many years of ignoring the need of education, I obtained my G.E.D in 2007. Moved to Selma an unfamilar place to me being a Michigan native, has been the bes thing for me that I can recall in recent years!! My first time in college (might I add an HBCU!)I met a team of faculity and staff that was non less than a FAMILY..that was there when I needed one- on one help that I will always remember, my first coolege report card 4 A's and 1 B!! G.P.A. of 3.75!! So thank you Selma University for all of your dedication to me as a student and I am counting down to the day I will walk Proudly across the stage and receive my degree and Business!!! c/o 2012!!! GO BULLDOGS!!

Hello, I am proud to say that I got my start at Selma University in Selma, where I was born and raised. I will never forget the rich heritage and spiritual background that I received that has been an asset to my life, almost 40 years later. I left there in the Spring of 1972, after getting a great start in pre-requisites for nursing. I went on and finished my nursing degree, and know of several that was there during the time that I was there that stayed and graduated and went on to be doctors and lawyers. So mom, dad, grads; don't despise small beginnigs, it how you finish that really matters. Just stay focused, and do well where ever you go.

I was blessed to attented and graduated form this Godly School of Higher Learning. Because I past that way life has been grand. Because of the foundation that I got there. I've been able to build a "BRICK HOUSE".(Life) I shall for ever remember those who help me become the man, the preacher, pastor, teacher, and leader that I am today. Thank you S.U. and God bless.

i attented selma and i meet the harris family dean and coach the made me feel so a home to be a part of there extended family its been about 20 some odd years but i still have such great memories of that campus the people mrs morris mrs chestnut mrs lindsey oh how i miss them all ..

I also attend Selma University durning the years 1987-1989 and I'm glad I did. Wasn't easy at first but we made the BEST out of it. To say the least the food was very interesting. In my view, we the Bahamain students turned Selma U upside down, mainly as we hosted Bahamain Day, What a day. Selma University made a great empact in my life that up to this day it's address and zip code is still in my memory.

THIS BLOG HERE IS A TRIBUTE TO MY FRIEND MILTON MORRIS WHO WAS SADLY KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT. HIS WAS WAS DRIVING HER CAR RIGHT BEHIND HIM AND SHE SAW THE ACCIDENT UNFOLD . HE AND I SPOKE ABOUT THREE DAYS PRIOR TO HIS ACCIDENT. WE TALKED ABOUT PLANNING A REUNION FOR ALL TO GET TOGETHER BUT UNFORTUNATLEY THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.

I attended Selma University from August 1987-May 1989. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Selma University and it was where I obtained my Associate of Arts Degree and met my husband. It will forever hold special memories for me.

I STILL CHERISH MY TIME AT SELMA UNIVERSITY. AS A YOUNG MAN FROM THE ISLANDS OF THE BAHAMAS SELMA UNVERSITY HAS BROADEN MY APPROACH TO LIFE AND HAS ENCOURAGED ME TO TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF ALL THAT IT OFFERS. SELMA UNIVERSITY WAS BUILT ON THE SITE OF AN OLD RACE TRACK AND I BELIEVE THE SPIRIT OF THE HORSES THAT ROAMED THOSE GROUNDS STILL RECINATE IN THAT CAMPUS, IT TELLS US THAT THE FINISH LINE IS OURS ONCE WE PUSH TOWARDS IT.
